Fujeij Wind Power Company (FWPC) is a project company established in Jordan by Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) / South Korea on the 8th of September 2015 in Fujeij in Ma’an, with the objective of selling all electricity generated therefrom to the National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) for 20 years from the commercial operation date. 

To maximize shared value and to help forge a stronger bond between Fujeij company and the local community, FWPC focuses on empowering the local community in six aspects which are combating poverty, social development, health, education, youth, women and children. 

The mission of FWPC is to create clean and safe energy using wind and create new future values with creative and harmonious energy and opening the world of clean and convenient energy. 

As the global wind power capacity increases at least 40% every year, wind is the world’s fastest growing energy source today. Wind power or wind energy describes the process by which the wind is used to generate mechanical power or electricity. Wind turbines convert the kinetic energy in the wind into mechanical power. n
